I had too many comics early on back then where the joke was she bites him. Changing things to where each page has its own punchline has helped with that but there was like 2 or 3 story arcs I never bothered with because they were a bit repetitive with Stuff happens Boom Zoe bites him. Took me a while to get the hang of writing these where I could actually come up with things that are at least a little funny.
Ah, come on. What could be funnier than “Zoe bites him”?
Distraction is always a legitimate tactic.
